Our history
1987
As the daughter of a gastronomy family, which is the 4th generation running a country inn in Germany, the hospitality gene was practically instilled in me. Nevertheless, at the age of 16 I decided to get to the bottom of the matter and learn from the bottom up what it takes to spoil guests in the very best hotels.

1993 - 1999
Always sticking your nose out. From an early age I was able to put my sensory skills to the test in excellent restaurants and reach for the stars. Whether as a sommelier in the Schwarzwaldstube of the "Traube Tonbach" in Baiersbronn, as a chef de service at Jöhris in the "Talvo" in Champfèr or as a chef de bar on Cocoa Island, when the Maldives were still almost untouched.

1992
Hans Jörg, my still unknown and future spouse, has an awakening experience in Miami Beach. He discovers granola for the first time in the "News Cafe" restaurant. A culinary love at first sight and the enthusiasm for a product that did not exist in Switzerland before, even if Dr. Bircher had already done pioneering work in Zurich around 1900 with his muesli.
el paradiso, St Moritz
1998
Hans Jörg acquires the mountain restaurant “paradiso” high above St. Moritz. The view over the lake landscape of the Upper Engadine and its mountains is simply breathtaking.

1999
It's time I met my husband! And voilà: Hans Jörg and I meet and make the little stars in our eyes sparkle. And because it is so beautiful and we can do it well together, we put our love and passion together into the development of the "el paradiso" brand, with which we are building the mountain restaurant into the renowned and multi-award-winning el paradiso Mountain Club .

2009
This year we were particularly pleased about the "MASTER" , the highest award, at the "Best of Swiss Gastro Award".
Lej da Staz, Celerina
2015
With the beautiful restaurant "Lej da Staz" we are expanding our joy in gastronomy and I will - in addition to my passion as a hut host on "el paradiso" - become the manager of this magical place.

2018
As part of a cooperation with the "Eleven Madison Park" in New York, which has just been voted the world's best restaurant, we were guests of the owner Daniel Humm on the occasion of a photo shoot. After the excellent dinner we were presented with a glass of granola . The goodness of indulgence overwhelmed us and planted a seed within us. As soon as I got back from the US, I started tinkering at home and was filled with the desire to create a granola that would delight us in the same way.

2021
After 23 fulfilled and unforgettable years, we say goodbye to "el paradiso" and also to "Lej da Staz".
2022
We treat ourselves to a break and travel. For us as a family it is an opportunity to look ahead and find new perspectives and ideas. When we were invited to friends' houses, I used to bring a glass of homemade granola . They were so enthusiastic about it that it didn't take long for us to be asked if we could buy it. bang! The business idea was born. And Hans Jörg and I had a new goal in mind.

Over the past 14 months, Hans Jörg and I have put our strength, our knowledge and our passion into the vision of creating a unique indulgence granola . With intensive research, constant trying and repeated testing. Today we can offer five gourmet granolas that fill us all with joy and a little pride.
