As a manufacturer of certified organic premium granola, which is also completely vegan, sustainability is important to us. From production to packaging, we pay attention to environmentally friendly and resource -saving solutions in order to keep our ecological footprint as small as possible.

♻️ Environmentally friendly packaging ♻️
Our packaging solutions are carefully selected to protect the environment. We rely on reusable or 100% recyclable glass and use boxes made of recycled material. For the snack variant in the Sports Can, we offer the reusable stainless steel cans to minimize the consumption of disposable packaging. The XL aluminum storage box is designed so that it can be used permanently and our new ones Reload bag are made from certified raw materials, which reduces your CO2 footprint.

All production devices in Granolaria are operated 100% with electricity from hydropower or solar energy (repower). We believe in the power of renewable energies and use sustainable techniques to produce Amazingranola. In addition, our delivery to the post is mostly with electric vehicles in order to further reduce the CO2 emissions.

Our story

Our story

My husband Hans Jörg and I weren't always granola producers. Before we turned to this new passion, we were both rooted in the gastronomy for many, many years. Our path literally "from the Pike", and we were able to gain valuable experience over the years, while we led and shaped several internationally known companies.

The gastronomy has taught us a lot: devotion, creativity and, above all, art to enjoy and share enjoyment. In 2021 we felt that it was time to take something new, to accept a new challenge and to steer our passion in a different direction.

Our trip to the Granola was an adventure, shaped by curiosity and the desire to express our creativity in a new way. In my view, the step meant more than just a professional change: it offers me the opportunity to share our longstanding love for good food in a fresh way by producing every batch with care and dedication myself.

1987

As the daughter of a catering family, which leads a country inn in Germany in the 4th generation, the host gene was practically in the cradle. Nevertheless, when I was 16, I decided to get to the bottom of the thing and learn from the pike what it takes to pamper guests in the very best houses.

1992

Hans Jörg, my still unknown and future spouse, has an awakening experience in Miami Beach. In the “News Cafe” restaurant, he discovers for the first time Granola. A culinary love at first glance and the enthusiasm for a product that did not yet exist in Switzerland, even if Dr. Bircher had already done pioneering work in Zurich around 1900 in Zurich. 

1993 - 1999

Always the nose long. I was able to demonstrate my sensory arts early on in excellent restaurants and reach for the stars. Whether as a summer in the Black Forest room of the "Traube Tonbach" in Baiersbronn, as a chief de-service at Jöhris in the "Talvo" in Champfèr or as a chief de-bar on Cocoa Island, when the Maldives were almost untouched. 

1998

Hans Jörg acquires the "Paradiso" mountain restaurant high above St. Moritz. The view over the lake landscape of the Upper Engadine and its mountains is simply breathtaking.

1999

It is time to get to know my husband! And Voilà: Hans Jörg and I meet and make the stars sparkle in our eyes. And because it is so beautiful and we can do it together, we put our love and passion together in the development of the brand "El Paradiso", with which we the mountain restaurant for the renowned and many excellent El Paradiso Mountain Club build up.

2009

This year we particularly have ourselves about the "MASTER"The highest award, happy at the "Best of Swiss Gastro Award".

2015

With the beautiful “Lej da Staz” restaurant, we are expanding our joy in gastronomy and - in addition to my passion as a hut host, I will be on "El Paradiso" managing director of this magical place.

2018

As part of a cooperation with the "Eleven Madison Park" In New York, which has just been awarded the world's best restaurant, we were at the owner on the occasion of a photo shoot Daniel Humm Guest. After the excellent diner we were given a glass Granola. The quality of the pleasure overwhelmed us and planted a seed in us. Immediately after returning from the USA, I started to tinker at home and was fulfilled by the desire to create a granola that would inspire us in the same way.

2021

After 23 fulfilled and unforgettable years, we say goodbye to “El Paradiso” and also of the "Lej da Staz".

2022

We treat ourselves to a break and go on trips. For us as a family, it is the opportunity to take a look ahead and find new perspectives and ideas. If we were invited to friends as guests, I each maintained a glass of homemade Granola bring with you. These were so enthusiastic that it didn't take long and we were asked whether you could buy that too. Bang! The business idea was born. And Hans Jörg and I had a new goal in mind.

2023

In the past 14 months, Hans Jörg and I have put our strength, our knowledge and passion into the vision, a unique one Pleasure granola to create. With intensive research, trying to try it out and testing repeated. Today we can offer five pleasure granolas, which fulfill all of us with joy and a little pride.
